Parks Without Borders' Summit at The New School University, May 24

Parks Without Borders : Ideas For The Next Generation of Urban Parks and Public Space Summit will be held at The New School University on May 24 !


David Seiter is invited as a speaker for a conference hosted by NYC Parks on the future of parks and public space in New York City in partnership with The New School. The theme of the conference is Parks Without Borders, a vision for parks and public spaces that are welcoming, accessible and beautiful. It is a full-day event at The New School University Center.

The conference will ask presenters and participants to consider the role of the 21st century park and the next era for park planning. Themes include innovative design, equity, engagement, resiliency, ecological and landscape connectivity, and more. The event will help to guide our collective work and offer inspiration about the power and potential of parks and public space to support vibrant, dynamic, and resilient communities. Seiter will be on a panel for Nature’s Benefits: Climate Protection, Ecosystem Health, Urban Landscape Connectivity and Inspiration.
